- Designed to work on the service of a refrigerated walk-in box.
- The alarm panel is fitted with a magnetic door switch that mounts (across the gap) at the top of the door and door frame.
- A digital controller monitors the time that the door switch is open and triggers an alarm relay after the programmed time delay has been exceeded.
- The alarm relay activates an 85dB alarm “buzzer” and a blue strobe light to alert the store staff that the door has been left open (door alarm).
- Comes fully assembled and ready to install.
- The panel should be mounted above the service door at a height of 18” to 20”. The magnetic half of the door switch assembly is mount to the top edge of the door above the door handle. The gap between the door switch and the magnet should be 3 inches or less, and vertically aligned to ensure proper operation. An aluminum bracket is furnished with the magnet to assist with the alignment.
- Some service doors will close flush with the door frame and will not require the aluminum bracket.
- Power feed should be made at the top of the enclosure.

Unique Feature
The controller has a second time delay that must be satisfied, once the initial alarm has sounded and the door has been closed. If the door is re-opened during this second time delay period, then the alarm is triggered immediately. This feature ensures the alarm panel is effective and it conditions the store staff to keep the service door closed when it is not in use.
