The 809-7005-HL weather station is used for measuring outdoor temperature, humidity, and light level. The weather station requires eight conductors to connect the three sensor elements to a building controller. If you utilize the cord grip for your cable entrance, an 8-conductor shielded cable is recommended. This will provide a weather tight installation.
The cord grip can be removed and the weather station can be mounted on a conduit. If the conduit is mounted vertically to form a "mast", then it is possible to rotate the weather station and point the light level sensor due North. The light level sensor should always be pointed due North to function at an optimum level.
The light level sensor powers on 12VDC & outputs a 0-9 Volt linear signal. Each volt of output represents 175 foot-candles. The humidity sensor powers on 12VDC & outputs a 0-5 Volt linear signal. The temperature sensor is a 10K thermistor.
